For people who love nature, this is ideal!2 days in Quebec City: [Hotel Frontenac]
A walk through historical vieux Quebec, the Chutes Montmorency (83 m / 272 ft. high) a magnificent waterfall with a challenging 650 steps to climb to the top, then the Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier with mountainous uplands fractured by a steep sided valley is a remarkable site sure to leave you speechless. {6 mi of trails}.

2-5 days in Charlevoix region: [Manoir Richelieu]
The fabulous landscape of Parc National des Grands Jardins is a hikers paradise. There are at least 17 different trails to explore from 2 Km to 28 Km in length. Relax at the beautiful Manoir Richelieu overlooking the St. Lawrence river. One additional feature is the private European style Casino.

Parc National des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Riviere-Malbaie in the Malbaie-Charlevoix area features one of the most spectacular sites - the gorges over the Malbaie river. Here you can find the highest cliffs in eastern North America. {many trails intermediate is 18 Km}.

3-5 days: Saguenay Fjord region:
Travel to Tadoussac. Boat cruise along fjord to Parc National du Saguenay {20+ trails, 60+ miles, in a network of backpacking trails that extends over 100 km}. Guided walks to top of cliff at famous Baie Eternite where the huge (30 ft) statue of Notre Dame du Saguenay is located. {2+ hrs}. Stay at lanse St. Jean (romantic Auberge in the fjord) or Tadoussac by the St. Lawrence or the Manoir Richelieu.

1 day: Return to Quebec along the scenic route to enjoy short stops at all the beautiful small villages that offer unique views, arts, and cuisine.
Additional: There are so many adventurous outdoors activities including canoeing, kayaking, bird-watching, swimming, fishing, and even golfing in all of these areas. Dont miss the festivals and cultural shows that abound in the small villages and be sure to enjoy the exquisite French-Canadian cuisine with the freshest seafood so pleasant to your palate.
