August Celebrations

August Celebrations
August 4 - 9

August in Québec City is the time of festivities of la Nouvelle France, a celebration of the arrival of the first Europeans in North America. The festivities include spectacular shows, concerts, parades in 17th century costumes and street entertainment inside the walls of historical Québec City. It is a festival atmosphere for the entire time with new sights and sounds around every corner.

August is also the time of the extraordinary fireworks, along with fantastic concerts. Each year, teams from various countries compete with a spectacle of fireworks over the Montmorency Falls. You will enjoy this extraordinary event while cruising and dining on the St. Lawrence River and see the fireworks of the closing ceremonies on August 8.

In addition, you will visit Ile d’Orléans for a very special wine tasting and a sampling of gourmet delicacies. All your senses will be engaged.
